BPL Match Preview- Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Manchester United can maintain their lead at the top of the Barclays Premier League with victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils are three points ahead of second-placed Liverpool and have a match in hand over their rivals. Tottenham Hotspur are just a point off spot and a place in next season's Europa League, West Ham occupying the last spot.

United have not lost to Spurs in their last 15 league meetings and 18 in all competitions. However Tottenham are in good form. They have won their last two and are looking to make it three in a row for the first time since April 2007.

Manchester United Team News:

Manchester United defender Gary Neville has been ruled out for a fortnight by Sir Alex Ferguson after injuring his foot against Portsmouth at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

It means the Red Devils' skipper will miss both legs of the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal as well as the Premier League match against Middlesbrough on the 2nd of May.

However, John O'Shea is fit after injuring his ankle in midweek and could be part of a United squad to face Spurs that also includes Wes Brown, who has come through two reserve outings this week without a reaction. Ryan Giggs will make his 800th appearance if he gets on the field.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News:
Tottenham centre-back Michael Dawson is still waiting for a scan on his ankle and will miss out on Saturday. Roman Pavlyuchenko is also likely to miss the Old Trafford visit as he recovers from a back problem.

Ledley King will require his usual check on his knee before being named in the starting XI, while on-loan Fraizer Campbell is ineligible to face his parent club.
